I have a dream for Gerald - well, two actually!
My first dream is for Gerald to have a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - an accolade he so richly deserves which has somehow been overlooked. I am aware that Stars can be awarded posthumously. If you would like Gerald to have a Star, please go to my page :
I know there are different categories, Radio, Film, Television. Gerald qualifies on all three, but most especially for his contribution to American Radio throughout the 1940s and early 50s with his award-winning interpretation of Philip Marlowe. My second dream for Gerald is a Gerald Mohr Convention. I would hold it here in a Glasgow hotel during the summer of 2011 - 3 years from time of writing - and it would last for two days. I have a comprehensive collection of Gerald’s radio, film and television work which I would be delighted to share, and it would be wonderful for American, Swedish and British people who admire this special man’s unique talent to come together and celebrate his life and work.
